Barbara Tedesco is a statistician with over 30 years of federal government experience in statistics and statistical sampling. She has worked for the Treasury Department, the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Inspector General (HHS/OIG)/Office of Evaluation and Inspections, where she was senior statistician in the Technical Support Staff.
Barbara’s primary role in all three departments was to design and analyze statistical samples and to provide statistical advice. While in the HHS/OIG, she became expert in evaluation methods and evaluation design and provided statistical support for over 250 evaluations.
Barbara’s expertise includes statistical tabulations with the SAS and SUDAAN software packages. She is also an expert user of MS Excel. During her federal career, she attended numerous training sessions sponsored by the American Statistical Association.
Barbara holds a BS in Mathematics from the University of Maryland and has completed additional statistics courses at The American University, George Washington University and the USDA Graduate School.
